Our mission is to create an environment that welcomes and informs pool players from the Juan de Fuca Pool League. On this website you will find league formats, rosters, schedules, standings and payouts. Also, there will be information about current and upcoming tournaments and competitions run by Bill Henderson, Juan de Fuca Pool League Operator and Deepak Hemnani, Wolfpack Division Manager. You will be able to sign up for the tournaments on this site, see the brackets and results. Links will be on the site that connects with national, regional and local sites of interest to league players and other pool players.
About the Juan De Fuca Pool League
The Juan de Fuca Pool League represents players on both sides of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There are currently 3 Divisions of the league, the Port Angeles Senior Center (PASC) Division in Port Angeles, The North Olympic Peninsula (NOP) Division in Port Angeles and Sequim and the Wolfpack Division in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The Juan de Fuca Pool League is a member of CSI’s BCAPL, a Global Pool League, and Western BCA, a Northwest Association of BCAPL pool leagues. Playing for 8 weeks in any session of Juan de Fuca Pool League qualifies a player to play in the CSI World Championships in Las Vegas and any of CSI’s state or regional tournaments. It also qualifies a player to play in Western BCA’s Regional Championships in Lincoln City Oregon which are the largest regional championships in the United States. The current cost to join the league is $35 USD, that earns membership in BCAPL, Western BCA and Juan de Fuca Pool League. This covers membership for a calendar year. In addition to running league play, Juan de Fuca Pool League also promotes competition among the divisions. The Juan de Fuca Cup is a Mosconi-type event which matches the better players from the Wolfpack Division in Victoria against their peers from the PASC and NOP Divisions in Port Angeles. I’ve been playing pool for nearly 40 years, placing 2nd in 9-ball (Silver 1) and 3rd in 8-ball (Silver 2) in Lincoln City, and winning a 9-ball 499-and-under tournament in Elma. Outside of pool, I’m passionate about the outdoors—hiking, mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, and telemark skiing.
