About Straight Shooters

Straight Shooters began at the Valley Seniors Organization (BSO/VSO) in January 2022. The team itself was formed around August or October 2022, as noted on the original signage and logo. Since then, Straight Shooters has continued to grow steadily and is now proudly into its third season of tournaments.

Straight Shooters is a home-built team created by passionate players who wanted to build something meaningful for the local pool community. The team is known not only for its competitive tournaments but also for doing a lot of work for charity. Over time, Straight Shooters has built a rapidly growing fan base of players who consistently support and participate in its events.

Straight Shooters also hosts team-bonding events for small businesses. One dealership in town already brought their staff for a pool night, highlighting Straight Shooters' ability to create engaging, memorable group experiences.

What Makes Our Tournaments Special?

Our tournaments use 7-foot well-maintained tables, and include live streaming and online brackets for a smooth and transparent experience. Events run year-round every other Sunday, with a standard $25 entry fee and occasional higher-stakes tournaments.

Annual Signature Events

Straight Shooters hosts two major annual events—the Men’s Shootout and the Women’s Shootout. These tournaments continue to expand each year, and future editions will feature enhanced organization, including online Calcutta and online 50/50 draws.

Supporting Women in Pool

Straight Shooters has consistently supported women players by hosting dedicated women's tournaments and creating opportunities for female competitors to thrive. The annual Women's Shootout has become a key highlight in our tournament lineup.

High-Caliber Players

Straight Shooters attracts strong competitors, including top Fargo-rated players ranging from 700 to 730+. These high-skill matches bring energy and excitement to every tournament, elevating the level of play for everyone involved.
